Peru: The Catholic Church and Homosexuality

I made this video for my Leadership in Cross Cultural Context Class. We had to present a place in the world that we wanted to visit and also say why we wanted to get there. My question was based on Gay Rights and how homophobia plays a big role in Peru because of its dependance on religion for almost every aspect of the country: moral, politically, socially....

I just have to say. I adored this opportunity to compile videos and edit to bring a message together. I am a Film student and I have been struggling since I graduated in 2008 to find my own path. I studied art for a year in England and was shut down because they would not renew my Student Visa, so I was forced to take a gap year in Venezuela. Doing nothing and craving a backbone. I applied to Seattle University to take Film Studies because I wanted to combine my creativity and also work with people. The Art world was a bit to lonely for me. I finally feel that I am walking on the right path.

I love Seattle and its People. I feel right here. Beautiful People

Este video me dio escalofríos. Cuando una se muda a un país que es más abierto con respecto a esto como los Estados Unidos también empieza a olvidarse de como son las cosas en el país de donde uno viene.
